Cocteau Twins Album Cover

12" cover for the Cocteau Twins' song "Cherry-Coloured Funk." The image is of their vocalist Elizabeth Fraser. Since the Twins' style and legacy is largely attributed to her unique voice, I wanted to make her the centerpiece. Most importantly, it was essential that I capture the dreamy, ethereal atmosphere of this song, while maintaining the abstract approach that this band has always utilized in their art.
